Blueberry Consultants is a private limited Custom Software Development Company, formed in early 1997. Blueberry is an expert in Microsoft technologies and has been a Microsoft Partner for a number of years – as well as an Amazon Web Services specialist.

We’re justifiably proud of the team we’ve assembled. Initially numbering just two programmers, Blueberry has grown steadily and now has over 50 full-time developers.

The Blueberry team is made up of highly-qualified, talented, and innovative IT professionals each with their own area of expertise. Their experience spans the full range of custom software development, from small entrepreneurial projects to complex systems for major corporations.

Martin Green

CEO

Martin Green founded Blueberry Consultants in 1997. Software development – and the creation of new products and companies – has been central to Martin’s life and career. He started programming on small microcomputers while at school, and after University established a game development company, ATD, which employed 35 people by the time he left to start Blueberry. Martin has been directly involved in the creation of three other start-up companies, and has been a director of two other UK technology companies. Martin believes that quality software development can make people’s lives easier, and takes a passionate interest in all Blueberry projects. ...

Jonathan Allan

Chief Technology Officer & Director

Jonathan Allan has a PhD in Computer Science and a BSc (Hons) degree in Combined Science: Computing with Chemistry from Nottingham Trent University. Jonathan has 12 years’ previous experience working with online projects within the oil and gas industry, developing software to collect and process geophysical data. The work allowed him to work with teams all around the world, including four years working in Calgary, Canada. Jonathan has been involved in several interesting projects for Blueberry, including a process management application for a current F1 team racing team, a claims reconciliation for pharmacies in Ireland, and a portal for monitoring health and safety of service users within hospitals. Jonathan is now settled in Birmingham and enjoys spending time with his wife and his three children, who are growing up fast! ...

Chief Operating Officer & Director

Dhruvesh Patel has previously worked as a lead technical consultant for a US-based search solutions provider, specialising within accounts automation. Before this, he’d spent a number of years as a solutions analyst for Citigroup UK, where he’d initially started off as a C# .NET Developer, then progressing onto business systems analysis and project management. Dhruvesh will be very much engaged with project management duties at Blueberry, in particular the design, planning and implementation of software development projects for clients, as well as dealing with a range of technical & support issues. His interests include competitive sports, such as occasional 5-a-side indoor football, pool, go-karting and cricket. ...

Duncan’s background is in C development – an area where he is regarded as something of a Guru within the company. Phil Turner has a professional career in software development spanning more than 25 years, mainly in real-time SCADA environments. His experience extends across many industries, most notably automotive, steel, gas, water, and glass. Phil has been involved in a number of projects for Blueberry since 2009, including a major bed management system for the healthcare sector. His big passion is photography, producing many successful and well received images at his local camera club.

Carl has over twenty five years’ experience working in digital media and online projects, working for companies in a variety of industries, both in media agencies and client side. Roles have included visual+functional design and project management for web apps, mobile apps, and other digital media. He has worked on products and with clients to build and deliver digital marketing and strategies to support the growth of products or services. His work has also allowed him to work as a software developer in Cape Town for a 5 year period. Steve Moorse has been involved in software development since starting as a junior programmer in 1987. The majority of his career has been managing the development of software for the Pensions and Insurance industry on both Microsoft and Java platforms. He has experience of using a variety of project management methodologies and has managed projects with multi-million pound budgets. Since graduating, Marc has worked in a variety of business sectors, ranging from insurance to law, and become familiar with a variety of technologies, from VB6 through to ASP.NET MVC. His first job was working for the Health and Safety Executive, where his first development project involved writing a Fortran program! Marketing Manager

Raspal Chima has the job of developing Blueberry’s websites and marketing the company to the world – and he’s also centrally involved in the marketing of Blueberry Software products. Previously, he’s worked for a number of blue-chip companies – including Honeywell, Wacker Chemie AG, and global advertising agency, McCann Erickson (managing PR for household names, Coca-cola, British Steel and WD40). Raspal also has a keen interest in writing – his more recent work includes a stint as a features editor for a magazine publishing company and writing two fiction novels. Julie joined Blueberry in 2015 and is responsible for the finance functions for Blueberry Consultants and Blueberry Software. Julie has spent more than half of her career working in the Pharmaceutical R& D/ Biotech sector, working with spinouts, start-ups, owner managed private limited companies and a NASDAQ listed Biotech. Outside of work life revolves round her family and any spare time is usually spent reading.

Liubov Green graduated with an MA in Applied Linguistics from the University of Birmingham. She is a registered member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists in London, and the Institute of Interpreters and Translators. Her passion is languages and she’s an avid reader of classics and historical books. Luba is responsible for handling HR issues at Blueberry – including recruiting, liaising with universities and academic departments, attending graduate recruitment fairs, and dealing with staff queries regarding employment. Technical Project Manager

Ben Garman joined Blueberry in April 2021 as a Software Developer and quickly progressed to Senior Developer, then Assistant Project Manager, and is now a Technical Project Manager. Before joining Blueberry, Ben was part of the SOTA team at Jaguar Land Rover, where he worked on over-the-air updates for the latest high-end vehicles. Since joining Blueberry, Ben has contributed to a wide range of projects, including a ligature detection alarm system, a next-generation internet provider, and a forklift truck training provider, among others. Notably, he has collaborated with Blueberry's CEO to develop a new product - DeskBuddy. Ben has a genuine passion for technology and constantly explores innovative ways to integrate tech into everyday life, from smart home setups to tools that simplify daily tasks, even in his personal time. ...
